Our School and Vacation Care Packages are available for all year levels and are perfect for reward days, end-of-term celebrations, Vacation Care groups and unforgettable school adventures. Students enjoy unlimited rides, exciting attractions and a full day of UNREAL Fun.

Looking to bring classroom learning to life? Our UNREAL Excursions are specially designed, Australian Curriculum aligned programs for Years 3–6, giving students the opportunity to explore science, technology, engineering and mathematics (STEM) through hands-on investigations using real theme park rides and attractions. 

For other year levels, we have hosted schools who have visited us for science, maths, arts (eg photography) and business/tourism.

  • A full day of UNLIMITED RIDES (+ Access to Illusionarium & Mayhem Maze) (entry is from 10am).

  • Depending on the age group and number of children booked, Aussie World will provide you with a number of complimentary adult admission passes as supervisors (including rides, not lunch).
  • Lunch platters include a selection of mixed sandwiches and seasonal fruit.
  • 1 x bottle of water per child.
  • A reserved table for your private use within the theme park.

Welcome to The Science of Fun - STEM based school excursions for Years 3-6.

 

Our innovative, hands-on excursion programs turn Australia’s favorite theme park into a living classroom laboratory. Designed specifically for students in Grades 3 to 6, these experiences bridge the gap between classroom theory and real-world application. Students rotate through highly engaging, structured investigation stations where they observe, measure, record and reason. Every program comes complete with pre-structured task resources to ensure a seamless, high-yield educational day out.

Focus Area: Science Understanding & Inquiry Skills

Program Summary: Students investigate how science and mathematics explain the physical motion of
rides they know and love, breaking down abstract physics concepts through real, tactile interactions.

Science: Physical sciences (forces, pushes/pulls, energy paths).

Mathematics: Spatial estimation, speed, and angle measurement.

DESIGN A THRILL RIDE

Engineering at Aussie World

Focus Area: Design and Technologies

Program Summary: Students step into the role of theme park engineers. Using real operational rides as inspiration, they look at how forces, materials, safety features, and design choices work together to
build experiences that are thrilling yet completely secure.

Program Summary: Students examine energy use, materials, sustainability practices and engineering design while developing an understanding of how businesses can balance visitor experiences with environmental responsibility.

Focus Area: Practical Mathematics & Scientific Inquiry

Program Summary: Turn your classes into real-world researchers. This fieldwork excursion teaches
students how data collection, mapping, and statistics are used daily to run a commercial amusement
park safely and efficiently.

Focus Area: Science & Spatial Mathematics

Program Summary: Utilizing specialized interactive attractions like the Illusionarium and Crazy Mirrors,
students explore how light travels, reflects off surfaces, and how the brain can be playfully tricked by
what the eyes see.

Science: Light pathways, surface reflection variables, and neurological sensory translation.

INFORMATION

To qualify for the School Group Package, the following terms apply.

 

  • Packages are available Monday to Friday only.
  • Bookings are essential and must be paid in full at least two (2) working days prior to arrival date (subject to availability).
  • A minimum of ten (10) paying children. Depending on the final number of children booked, you will receive a couple of complimentary teacher/adult rides only passes for supervisors (lunch not included).
  • A 50% deposit is required at time of booking and final numbers and full payment is required two (2) working days prior to your booking date.
  • Payment methods include credit card (1.75% surcharge applies) or direct deposit into our bank account. If you intend to pay via direct deposit, please allow an extra two (2) working days for your funds to clear.
  • If full payment is not received in this time frame the booking may be forfeited along with the deposit paid.
  • School groups are permitted to bring along their own packed lunch boxes (no other external catering permitted).
  • Should you book the lunch and ride package, and have special dietary requirements, Aussie World would be pleased to provide alternate menu options.
  • Bookings do not gain access to Platypus Ponds Mini Golf (additional fees apply).
  • Fun’s Our Thing at Aussie World and safety is our highest priority. As part of our maintenance schedule some rides and attractions are sometimes unavailable. Please refer to our website for ride status.
  • If the booking needs to be cancelled at any time after the booking is made, a refund of payment will be given (less a 10% administration fee).
  • Cancellations made on the day of the booking, or if numbers are less than those confirmed and paid for prior to arrival, will not be refunded.
  • Please check our website for our current opening hours.
  • Aussie World is a no smoking area.
